Managing Director Jan Hannink about the founding of Viservo: “We noticed a need in the market for a service organisation which focuses on technical services, such as replacement lighting. Our organisation has the expertise to support our clients with just that, which is why Viservo was founded. The common denominator is service provision, but Nedfilter and Viservo are also two separate companies with their own expertise.”

Erik Kops manages both service departments at Nedfilter and Viservo. His teams are very busy and don’t have a moment’s rest. “The fact that we can take care of the complete air and dedusting filtration management is very handy for our customers. The filter will always deliver optimal performance when you stick to the previously determined supply and replacement scheme. When we replace a filter, we always check and, where necessary, replace the v-belt as standard procedure. Viservo works with the same principle: delivery according to a previously determined scheme, check and replace. Our clients don’t have to worry about the lighting in their buildings anymore.”

Kops enjoys the team spirit within his departments. “We are very open and honest towards each other. We have to be, as we sometimes work under dangerous conditions. I constantly go on about safety issues, as this is the best way of minimising risks.  I am always available when we have teams out in the field. Sometimes I get two telephone calls at the same time. One engineer is yelling at the telephone to make himself heard in a noisy factory, as the other is whispering in an office building.”
